This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a QAQC Engineer - ICX in the United States.

This role provides an exciting opportunity to ensure the quality and integrity of electrical and mechanical components in mission-critical construction projects. The QAQC Engineer will perform inspections, examinations, and tests, collaborating closely with internal and external teams to maintain high-quality standards. Accountabilities

  • Perform inspections, examinations, and tests of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems during construction.
  • Read and interpret safety rules, equipment and site drawings, specifications, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Record and report results from inspections and tests accurately.
  • Ensure measuring and test equipment is in proper condition for use.
  • Coordinate day-to-day activities with internal and external personnel.
  • Review QA / QC plans, schedules, reports, and procedures to ensure compliance with standards.
  • Set up inspections, examinations, and tests as required.
  • Communicate results effectively in reports, presentations, or meetings with stakeholders.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED with at least 2 months of relevant inspection / testing experience, preferably in large construction projects, or Associate Degree with 1 month of related experience.
  • Familiarity with mechanical and electrical building systems; military experience is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Smartsheet or Ajera is a plus.
  • Ability to calculate figures, percentages, and proportions accurately.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Leadership and team collaboration capabilities.
  • Visual acuity of at least 20 / 30 in one eye and ability to distinguish colors and contrast.
  • Willingness and ability to travel 50-75% to project sites, working effectively from a dedicated home office.
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods, move in challenging environments, handle equipment up to 30 lbs, and perform occasional climbing, kneeling, or crouching.
