SMS Staffing Is Hiring Immediately for Shipping Specialists!

JOB TITLE :    Shipping & Receiving Specialist

JOB LOCATION : North Chicago, IL

JOB TYPE :   Temp to Hire

PAY :   $22.50 / HOUR

1st SHIFT :  8 : 00 AM to 4 : 30 PM (Monday - Friday)

About the Shipping Specialist Role :

Are you a detail-oriented shipping pro with a solid understanding of Federal regulations (DOT compliance) ? We’re looking for a skilled Shipping Specialist who thrives in a fast-paced environment and communicates effectively across all levels.

Job Duties :

• Responsible for UPS / FedEx small package shipments and deliveries
• Assist with SDS database
• Lend support to Regulatory Projects and Security
• Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously with minimum supervision
• Properly segregate, label, transport, store, record, and inspect hazardous and non-hazardous materials
