Travel Nurse (RN) Tele / Stepdown (Telemetry / PCU)

Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel RN - PCU

Shift : Nights / 7p-7a (12x3) 36 hours per week, EOW

Length : 13 weeks

Requirements : TN License

2 Years experience

Must have Critical thinking skills, EKG rhythm interpretation, cardiac drip, insulin drip and heparin drip experience

• Experience with stroke and post cardiac cath care
• Experience with tube feedings and NG / dobhoff tubes.

BLS

ACLS

Peritoneal dialysis experience preferred and peripheral iv skills

Other details :

Documentation system : Meditech

May have to float in between PCU units or float to med-surg floors

Number of Beds : 630 has 34 beds / 633 has 25

Patient Ratios : 1 : 4 to 1 : 5 on days, 1 : 5 to 1 : 6 on nights

Type of equipment : bipaps, high flow o2, vapotherm, alaris pumps, cardiac drips, heparin drips, insulin drips, peritoneal dialysis. Wound vacs in conjunction with wound care
