Job descriptionProvide one-to-one nursing care, including monitoring and support throughout the school day Administer approximately eight gastrostomy tube (G-tube) feedings daily with precision and care Manage diabetic care by monitoring blood glucose levels using Blue Loop, calculating carbohydrates, and administering insulin as prescribed Collaborate with school staff and healthcare providers to ensure consistent, safe, and effective care tailored to the students unique medical needs Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of medical care and munication with relevant parties Current and valid LPN or LVN license Experience in pediatric nursing or school nursing preferred Skilled in gastrostomy tube feedings and diabetic care management Ability to use technology like the Blue Loop app for glucose monitoring Strong munication and organizational skills passionate and patient-centered approach to care Contract flexibility tailored to your availability Opportunity to make a tangible difference in a childs life within an educational environment
