About this Role
The Vice President of Communications & Development at Ecotrust is a pivotal leadership role responsible for the strategic advancement of the organization’s fundraising and communications initiatives. This role entails crafting and optimizing robust programs that align with Ecotrust’s dynamic objectives and mission of economic and environmental well-being. As a key member of the Leadership and Executive Teams, the VP provides strategic guidance across departments, collaborates with the Board of Directors, and actively shapes the organization’s development strategy. The selected candidate will drive the alignment of organizational objectives, resource optimization, and synergistic growth across various teams and departments. In addition, the VP manages the performance and development of direct reports, assuring the integrity of planning, budgeting, and strategic goal tracking related to fundraising and communications. By facilitating innovative approaches and strengthening operational capacities, the VP supports the growth of Ecotrust’s influence and brand recognition across channels.
