Job descriptionType : Contract Duration : ~2 months Start Date : As soon as possible Shift / Hours : Monday-Friday, 8 : 00 AM - 1 : 00 PM (part-time) Collect forensic and clinical specimens with precision and professionalism Explain blood draw procedures and reassure patients Verify and label specimens while maintaining strict confidentiality Maintain records and document patient interactions accurately Ensure compliance with health and safety standards Travel as needed to cover nearby Patient Service Centers or in-office sites Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure quality service Uphold organization's Everyday Excellence Guiding Principles 3+ years of phlebotomy experience , including pediatric and geriatric collections 2+ years in Patient Service Center environments preferred Experience in customer-facing roles (e.g., retail, healthcare, or service industries) Keyboard / data entry skills In-office or mobile phlebotomy coverage Diagnostic or healthcare provider environment experience Excellent venipuncture skills across diverse age groups Strong customer service orientation Ability to work independently and travel locally Flexible to work weekends, holidays, on-call, or overtime if needed Strong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple priorities Phlebotomy certification (not required in Louisiana, but preferred) Medical Assistant or EMT background Communication skills with ability to reassure anxious patients High School Diploma or equivalent Must have reliable transportation and valid driver's license Comfortable lifting light loads (e.g., specimen kits) Medical, Vision, and Dental Insurance 401(k) Retirement Plan
