Optomi is seeking a Cloud Developer with a strong focus on Generative AI to design and implement cutting-edge, agentic cloud applications that transform how developers interact with cloud technologies. Base pay range

$100,000.00 / yr - $110,000.00 / yr

Qualifications

  • 5+ years in software development (Python, Go, Java, or C++)
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) including networking, security, containers, storage, and serverless
  • Expertise in agent development using tools like Agent Development Kit (ADK) and Model Context Protocol (MCP)
  • Strong prompt engineering skills for optimizing outputs from LLMs
  • Experience with CI / CD pipelines, observability tools, monitoring dashboards, alerting, and logging
  • Understanding of MLOps, including model lifecycle management and cloud-based data engineering
  • Capable of handling incident management, root cause analysis, and implementing post-mortems
  • Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and implementation of an agent-based customer engagement platform, leveraging the latest Generative AI and LLMs.
  • Integrate autonomous agents with tools, APIs, and cloud services to enhance developer workflows and experiences.
  • Monitor and optimize performance, reliability, and cost-efficiency of AI solutions across multi-cloud environments.
  • Utilize retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), vector search, and prompt engineering techniques to power intelligent, conversational user experiences.
  • Work closely with security and DevOps teams to deliver production-grade, resilient, and scalable solutions.
  • Participate in architectural discussions, code reviews, and continuously improve development standards.
