ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE

We are looking for a seasoned account executive / construction project executive with a proven track record of success differentiating value, leading and driving high- level technology solutions with executives. We help our customers plan, develop and manage Smart, Functional, Comfortable, Secure, Sustainable and Energy-Efficient buildings.
Working together, our Sales, Operations and Service teams have an open-discussion, positive work environment focused on continuous process improvement and bringing unique value to our customers. Our team is dedicated to developing new business and establishing long-lasting business partnerships advising our customers on the best products and solutions to solve their business needs. Our goal is to leverage your existing relationships along with our significant customer base in the Nebraska – western Iowa market delivering exciting, smart building technologies to all vertical markets.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Schedules and conducts sales calls to existing and new customers, key decision makers and influencers.
- Negotiates projects, addressing resistance when demonstrated and closes the sale differentiating our company as a total building solution through value positioning and ongoing customer satisfaction.
- Knows your customers’ business requirements and the impact our security, building automation or mechanical services can have on their business.
- Develops and accomplishes a sales plan and pipeline exceeding sales quota while tracking and forecasting progress in a customer relationship management tool (CRM).
Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering, Information Technology and / or related field or industry sales experience in the Building Automation / Mechanical Service / Security industry.Demonstrated ability to assess building technology needs, design and present proposed turnkey solutions aligning with the customers’ goals, assisting with cost / benefit / risk assessments and providing various value-based solution options.Experience as an account manager, in the traditional plan & spec bid and / or design-build markets. Strong initiative and interpersonal communications skills.High level of proficiency with Microsoft based platforms to include CRM.Strong networking abilities with excellent follow up skills.A team player with a high degree of self-motivation and drive.Ability to work productively with highly motivated sales professional
