Technical Accounting Intern (Charlotte, Summer 26, Hybrid)

Internship Hours : Full-time, 8 AM to 5 PM

Compass Group is selectively recruiting for a Technical Accounting Internship opportunity within Compass corporate offices.

Job Responsibilities :

Assist in monthly accounting close process, which includes accounting entries and reconciliations for acquisitions related accounts

Assist in purchase accounting for acquired and divested entities

Collect, document and track prepared by client (PBC) records for the annual IFRS audit

Research accounting standards to answer technical accounting queries

Job Qualifications :

Rising Junior or above majoring in Accounting

Ability to work independently and possess strong problem solving skills

Detail oriented with strong analytical skills

Proficiency in Excel a must
