Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This opportunity is for a part-time Speech-Language Pathologist specializing in K-12 education, focusing on a caseload of mild to moderate speech and language needs across preschool, middle, and high school students. The role is based in Morganton, NC, with flexibility for virtual candidates to provide teletherapy services.
Key Responsibilities :
- Provide speech and language evaluations and therapy to a caseload of approximately 15 students, including 10 preschoolers, 3 high school students, and 2 middle school students.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans targeting speech, language, and munication goals.
- Collaborate with educational staff and families to support student progress.
- Conduct teletherapy sessions in accordance with school district guidelines.
Qualifications :
Possession of the Certificate of Clinical petence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology.Experience in pediatric speech-language pathology within school or healthcare settings, including teletherapy.pletion of Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) preferred.Demonstrated ability to manage a diverse caseload across multiple grade levels.Strong munication and organizational skills.Valid license to practice as an SLP within the state (if applicable).Position Details :
Part-time mitment of 2 to 2.5 hours daily, totaling 15 to 20 hours per week.Contract duration of approximately 13 weeks, starting as soon as possible through mid-January.Virtual candidates are wele to apply; this position is not open to Speech-Language Pathology Assistants.This role provides a unique opportunity to deliver targeted speech therapy within an educational environment, supporting students' munication development through both in-person and teletherapy modalities.
