About The Position

Job Title : RN - Oncology

Experience : Minimum of 1 year in Oncology, 2+ years preferred

License : RN License required

Certifications : BLS required, OCN certification preferred

Must-Have :

• EPIC experience highly preferred
• Skills in port access and peripheral blood draws
• General assessment and triage skills
• Understanding of messaging within EPIC

Description :

This position is for an Oncology RN.

The role is in an outpatient clinic setting.

The clinic consists of 20 exam rooms and supports general oncology patients with various solid tumors and anemias.

The clinic operates daily with an average census of 12-16 patients seen daily.

Ideal candidates will have at least 1 year of oncology nursing experience, with 2+ years preferred and clinic experience highly regarded.

Those with acute care experience and strong backgrounds may also be considered.

Patient types will include benign and malignant cancer cases.

The department is supported by charge RNs and clinical supervisors.

There is no floating required for this position.

The work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, with no weekend rotation or call requirements.

Holiday expectations are also none.

Candidates must be able to utilize the required technology and equipment, including the EMR system.

Scrub color will be navy blue.
