Per Diem MAT Clinician (LCSW, LMFT, LPCC)

Responsibilities

Conveniently located in northern Sacramento, Heritage Oaks is a fully accredited, 125-bed acute psychiatric hospital offering a full range of individually tailored treatment services to adolescents, adults, and senior adults, including treatment for substance abuse and chemical dependency issues with drugs and alcohol. Heritage Oaks is a Medicare provider in addition to contracts with most commercial health insurance plans. The MAT Clinician provides high-quality 5150 assessments, disposition and limited case management services for clients in emergency departments and on medical floors. Evaluations for assessment, intervention, triage and teaching shall be provided in a manner consistent with the philosophy, objectives, policies and procedures of Heritage Oaks Hospital.

• Assess patients and write 5150s at Mercy Hospitals as appropriate.
• Respond to the four Mercy Hospitals in Sacramento or other medical facility within one hour of being called.
• Competency with Mercy Hospital's computerized charting system, including the following additional notations.

Schedule : Per Diem / NOC Availability : 12 AM - 7 : 30 AM

Qualifications

Education : Master's degree in social services or behavioral health field.

Experience : A minimum of two (2) years licensed experience working in crisis settings with psychiatric patients is required.

Additional Requirements : LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT license; valid CA driver license and clear driving record; current CPR certificate; and Handle with Care trained within 30 days of employment
