We are looking for a Revenue Accountant who has solid experience of revenue accounting to join the growing accounting team in our NYC office. You will have the opportunity to work closely with colleagues from different parts of the world to take this fast-growing company to the next level!

What you’ll do
- Review and analyze customer agreements to understand invoicing terms and revenue recognition treatment
- Prepare invoices in accordance with contract terms and customer requirements
- Review aged receivables and lead collection efforts
- Process cash collections
- Research and answer customer or account director questions as it relates invoicing and collections
- Recognize revenue in accordance with ASC 606 ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Maintain and reconcile deferred and accrued revenue accounts
- Perform month-end processes
- Assist with interim review and annual audit
- Review sales & use tax and assist with filings and returns
You should have
- BA/BS degree in Accounting or related field
- 3+ years of accounting experience with a focus on US GAAP and financial reporting
- Public experience, or experience working with external auditors, is a big plus
- Ability to independently identify issues and present solutions
- Proficiency in Excel is required
- Strong communication and organizational skills with attention to details
- Highly motivated, professional, and hard working
