• 7 on / 7 off rotation 8am to 4pm with night call 4pm to 8am
• Average daily census of 6 patients maximum 10 patients
• 0 - 2 calls per night rarely requires return to hospital
• Hospital-based practice
• Ventilator management required no ICU coverage
