Responsibilities
- Leads all aspects of manufacturing : Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, Efficiency.
- Process development and continuous improvement.
- Strategic and capacity planning for Production.
- Resource planning and development including people and equipment.
- Budget development and management.
- Member of the Management team – participate in cross-functional activities.
- Ensures safe practices and adherence to safety policies. Key Member Of Safety Committee.
- Ensure effective collaboration and coordination with other functional areas of business to deliver against goals and customer needs.
- Recommends and implements changes in manufacturing processes to drive continuous improvement.
- Plans and manages resource needs including people, schedules and equipment. Accountable for maintenance and capital expenditures.
- Builds, develops and manages high performing production team capable of meeting Production goals.
- Provides leadership for problem resolution to facilitate better and faster solutions and improved working relationships.
- Oversees Production budget to ensure compliance or improvement.
- Develops and maintains daily, weekly and monthly reporting. Presents Production data for MOS.
- Ensures compliance with state and federal regulations, IATF 16949, OSHA, ISO14001 and customer specific requirements.
- Ensures Grand Blanc site maintenance and safety.
- Manages employees discipline and performance evaluations.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years operations supervision / management experience.Bachelor's degree in business admin, engineering or related preferred.Required Skills
