Accounts Payable Specialist
Our client in the healthcare and hospitality industries is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Manager to oversee the accounts payable department.
The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized and able to manage a high volume of invoices while ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
The Accounts Payable Manager will be responsible for leading a team, streamlining processes and maintaining strong vendor relationships.

Accounts Payable Manager Responsibilities :
- Manage the accounts payable process from invoice receipt to payment disbursement
- Supervise and mentor accounts payable staff, providing guidance and support as needed
- Review and approve invoices for accuracy, proper coding and authorization
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of payments to vendors and suppliers
- Reconcile accounts payable transactions and resolve any discrepancies
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy
- Communicate with vendors regarding payment inquiries and discrepancies
- Prepare reports and analysis related to accounts payable activities as needed
Accounts Payable Manager Requirements :
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field preferred
- 5+ years of experience in accounts payable or related field
- 2+ years of supervisory experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and accuracy
