Assistant Controller - $150,000 base + 20% bonus+ hybrid
We arecurrently seeking an experienced Assistant Controller to join our team inBoston, MA, with a salary range of $150,000 plus a 20% bonus structure.
In thisrole, you will play a vital role in ensuring accurate financial reporting forassigned portfolios, including property accounting and fund financialinformation.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience,preferably 7 years, in real estate or private equity industries, with a strongbackground in real estate funds or debt funds.
Experience with fair valuefinancial reporting, internal controls, and financial statement preparation isessential. Additionally, candidates should possess strong analytical skills,attention to detail, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Theability to meet time-sensitive deadlines and manage variable workloads iscrucial. A Bachelor’s degree in business administration, with an accountingconcentration preferred, is required.
CPA license and public accountingexperience are preferred. Experience in key areas such as consolidatedfinancial statement preparation, fair value reporting, investor reporting, andcontributions / distributions is highly desirable.
