Accounts Receivable Accountant

The Accounts Receivable (AR) Accountant is responsible for analyzing information, maintaining accurate records, assisting with accounting duties, and providing timely, courteous responses to inquiries or complaints from clients, Aramark employees, or other third parties. You should also be a skilled researcher and possess effective communication and computer skills. The AR Accountant will execute and distribute standard AR reporting packages.

Job Responsibilities :

• Complete accounting and reporting activities in accordance with US GAAP and the company accounting policies.
• Review and verify the accuracy and completeness of the Accounts receivable tasks for your area of responsibility on a monthly and quarterly basis.
• Ensure month-end close, SoX controls, and financial reporting deadlines met.
• Provide documentation and support to internal and external auditors. Ensure compliance with all SoX controls.
• Maintain service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Help foster an environment of continuous improvement on the accounts receivable team.

Qualifications : 2-3 years of experience working in the Finance or Accounting field. Degree in Accounting or finance required. Strong technical and analytical accounting skills including account reconciliations. Strong Microsoft Excel skills. Experience with lookups, pivot tables, formulas, and data manipulation. Knowledge in Oracle Financial is a plus. Strong collaborator, self-starter, highly motivated, and eager to learn. Possess excellent people skills working with diverse groups and various levels of financial and operating personnel. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
