Travel RN – Electrophysiology Lab (EP RN)

Location : Rochester, NY

Start Date : 9 / 15

Assignment Length : 13 weeks

Schedule : 3x12s | Primarily Days with some late evenings | No weekends at this time

Holiday, on-call, and callback coverage required per unit needs

Join a leading team in cardiovascular care as a Travel EP RN . You'll support complex electrophysiology procedures in a high-acuity setting, working closely with physicians and technical staff to deliver excellent patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities :

Assist in diagnostic EP procedures and ablations

Circulate in the procedure room, maintain fluid management for ablation catheter

Support anesthesia and document during procedures

Proficient use of Epic for documentation

Communicate with MDs, staff, vendors for timely coordination and room turnover

Provide backup pacing support during device implants

Must be proficient in moderate sedation

Common Procedures on Unit :

RF / Cryo ablations (A-fib, A-flutter, AVNRT, WPW, etc.)

Device implants : pacemakers, ICDs, subcutaneous devices, loop recorders

Structural heart procedures : LAAC (Watchman, Amulet)

HRE (laser and low risk)

Preferred but not required :

Cardiac implant or structural heart scrub experience

Familiarity with GE (MacLab & CardioLab) systems

Requirements :

Active NYS RN License

Minimum 2 years of experience

BLS certification (AHA only)

Epic experience required
