Senior Data Platform Engineer

A company is looking for a Senior Data Platform Engineer to enhance and manage their data infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

Operate, improve, and extend the data infrastructure

Support engineering teams in optimizing performance of reports, searches, and data services

Automate infrastructure management using infrastructure-as-code tools

Required Qualifications

Experience with data storage and processing systems, including relational databases and data warehouses

Familiarity with stream processing tools such as Kafka or Kinesis

Hands-on experience with AWS or GCP data processing infrastructure

Proficiency in Python and tools like Airflow, Redshift, and dbt

Knowledge of the AWS data ecosystem, including services like Aurora MySQL and S3
