Job Summary

A nail technician's job involves providing various nail care services, including manicures, pedicures, artificial nail applications and nail art. You are responsible for cleaning, shaping, and polishing nails, while also ensuring a hygienic and comfortable environment for clients.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Providing nail services :  This includes manicures, pedicures, artificial nail applications (e.g., acrylic, gel), and nail art.
• Cleaning, shaping, and polishing nails :  This involves removing old polish, cuticle care, filing, buffing,  and applying new polish.
• Consulting with clients :  Understanding their nail care needs, preferences, and desired services and double checking with your client every step of the way.
• Maintaining a clean and organized workspace :  Keeping up with hygiene and safety standards.
• Providing customer service :  Building rapport with clients, answering questions, and addressing concerns.
• Promoting and selling nail products :  Recommending products for nail care and maintenance if necessary..
• Sterilizing tools :  Ensuring proper sanitation for all tools and equipment.
• Be on time, look professional.
• Maintain a team-orientated attitude to achieve common goals.
• Engage fully in training, team meetings, and special projects.
