Inside Sales Representative

Location : Remote North Texas, DFW area preferred

OVERVIEW

This position must be highly motivated, have high energy, and the ability to work closely with multiple team members and departments including Estimating, Inside Sales, Outside Sales, Product Managers, Supply Chain, and Shipping / Warehouse.

This position will also work closely with contractors, fabricators, and other specifications customers to facilitate the direct sales process of the Total Fortress Solution.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Own assigned customer accounts and collaborate with the specifications team to help with their customers as deemed necessary.
  • Use the Fortress internal CRM system, our lead analytics software, social networking platforms, and cold calling to gain incremental sales and grow the Fortress brand presence in the marketplace.
  • Foster an environment of open communication internally and with our customers.
  • Maintain a comprehensive working knowledge of Fortress brands including Fortress Decking, Fortress Framing, Fortress Fencing, and Fortress Railing products, and the ability to provide solutions to existing and potential customers.
  • Work with other Channel Sales team members in organizing, coordinating, and facilitating direct sales efforts geared toward the contractor, developer, fabricator, and other identified end users.
  • Record activity and information into company CRM and keep all information correct and up to date.

Education / Experience / Additional Requirements

  • 3+ years successful experience in inside sales, customer service, estimating, or a project management role
  • Working knowledge of the building materials industry and products
  • Knowledge around facilitating a direct sales process
  • Design background or previous experience is a plus
  • Knowledge of reading building and architectural plans is a plus
