HOUSEKEEPER

The HOUSEKEEPER is responsible cleaning and maintaining the appearance of all public areas of the work site, cleaning and sanitizing patient / client rooms, changing bed / bath linens, deep cleaning of assigned areas, sweeping / mopping floors, removing trash and meeting / event set-up. In addition, the HOUSEKEEPER is responsible for restocking Housekeeping supplies.

The successful candidate will possess the following :

• One year housekeeping experience, preferably in a hospital or similar environment
• Laundry experience required preferred
• Knowledge of housekeeping supplies including cleaning chemicals
• Knowledge of deep cleaning / maintaining multiple areas of a hospital including patient rooms (occupied and un-occupied), nursing stations, lounges, cafeteria / kitchen, waiting areas and offices
• Experience with floor maintenance
• Must be able to communicate (speak and understand) English
