Position Summary
Administrative Assistants to join the Recovery and Claims Services Department . These professionals serve as departmental resources, providing a wide range of administrative and operational support to ensure efficiency and accuracy across processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Answer inbound calls in a call center environment.
 - Process mail, faxes, and incoming documentation.
 - Enter and triage multiple forms and reports.
 - File legal documents, route correspondence, and send outgoing communications.
 - Set up new cases and process authorizations related to employee leave benefits and accommodations.
 - Perform clerical tasks such as maintaining calendars, scheduling meetings, arranging travel, preparing reports and presentations, and maintaining electronic files.
 - Support departmental projects and serve as a mentor / resource to others as needed.
 - Demonstrate professionalism, initiative, and strong judgment to optimize departmental productivity.
 
Skills & Qualifications
Excellent command of grammar, punctuation, and English usage.Proficiency with computers and office equipment (computer, printer, phone system, copier, fax, etc.).Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with keen attention to detail.Exceptional interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.Ability to exercise sound judgment and adapt to a fast-paced, changing environment.Typing speed of 60 WPM preferred.Experience with secretarial / clerical software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).Education & Experience
Completion of a one- or two-year degree / diploma in administrative assistant or secretarial studies, ORMinimum two years of experience in an administrative / secretarial role with responsibilities such as :Calendar managementReport and presentation preparationDatabase and spreadsheet managementTravel coordinationProfessional correspondence and documentation support
