About the Role
As VP of Sales, you'll architect and execute TCC's next stage of growth. You'll lead and inspire a multi-state sales organization, aligning business development, operations, and client partnerships to deliver excellence at scale. This role reports to the COO and oversees our national sales team as we expand our footprint and deepen relationships with general contractors nationwide.
This is a dynamic role that balances strategic leadership with hands-on mentorship :
- 65% Business Development & Team Coaching : Mentor and develop sales team members, helping them refine their skills and advance their careers
- 35% Sales Operations & Strategy : Drive analytics, performance metrics, and data-driven adjustments to ensure consistent goal achievement
You'll balance strategic vision with active leadership, ensuring every win strengthens our people, our clients, and our brand.
What You'll Do
Lead, coach, and mentor a growing sales team across multiple states—developing future leaders, not just managing numbersBuild scalable go-to-market strategies and territory expansion plans that leverage TCC's existing strengthsCreate and implement performance models, metrics, and reporting systems for disciplined, measurable growthPartner with Operations, Accounting, and Procurement to ensure seamless alignment between sales commitments and delivery capabilitiesDrive enterprise relationships with general contractors built on trust, authenticity, and shared purpose that go beyond transactional interactionsImplement efficient sales systems using our EOS framework (Quarterly Rocks, Level 10 meetings, accountability structures)Oversee P&L performance and strategic pricing decisionsRepresent TCC's mission and values in every client interaction, strengthening our brand reputation consistentlyWhat We're Looking For
Experience & Expertise :
15+ years of progressive sales leadership experience in construction, contracting, or related B2B industriesPrevious VP-level or equivalent sales leadership role with demonstrated successProven track record scaling revenue beyond $250M or leading companies through major growth phasesConsistent history of exceeding sales goals in both individual contributor and leadership roles—credibility built through resultsDeep expertise in enterprise sales, relationship management, and market expansionExperience leading and inspiring distributed sales teams across multiple marketsProficiency with CRM systems and data-driven sales managementLeadership & Executive Presence :
