Key Responsibilities :
- Litigation Management : Handle all aspects of litigation, including case strategy, pleadings, motions, discovery, trial preparation, and court appearances.
- Case Analysis and Strategy : Conduct thorough legal research, analyze case law, and develop effective litigation strategies tailored to each client’s needs.
- Client Representation : Represent clients in various legal proceedings, including court hearings, arbitrations, and mediations, with a focus on private equity financings and commercial real estate disputes.
- Document Drafting : Draft, review, and revise a variety of legal documents, including complaints, answers, motions, briefs, and settlement agreements.
- Client Communication : Maintain regular communication with clients, providing updates on case progress and offering strategic legal advice.
- Collaboration : Work closely with senior attorneys and other team members to ensure cohesive and comprehensive case management.
- Professional Development : Engage in continuous learning and professional development, with opportunities for mentorship and advancement within the firm.
Qualifications :
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the New York State Bar.
- 3-5 years of litigation experience, with a preference for experience in private equity financings and commercial real estate.
- Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
