LocumJobsOnline is working with Barton Associates to find a qualified Urgent Care PA in Texas!

About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Urgent Care Physician Assistant for a 50-day locum tenens assignment in Texas. This opportunity starts on Nov 6, 2025, and offers a flexible schedule with guaranteed 30-40 hours per week, working 8- or 12-hour shifts. The provider will serve as the sole clinician in an urgent care setting, ideal for those who thrive in independent roles and are confident managing a range of acute presentations. This is a 3-month contract with a strong likelihood of extension.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Serve as the sole provider in an urgent care setting
  • Evaluate, diagnose, and manage a broad range of acute illnesses and injuries
  • Perform minor procedures as appropriate to urgent care
  • Document patient encounters accurately and efficiently
  • Ensure high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment
  • Collaborate with clinic staff as needed to support patient flow

    • Additional Information

  • Must have at least 2 years of recent urgent care experience
  • Active Texas license required
  • Ability to work independently and confidently as the sole provider
  • Flexibility with scheduling and availability is essential
