Job descriptionServe as the sole provider in an urgent care setting Evaluate and manage a variety of urgent care cases Perform patient assessments, diagnoses, and treatment plans Deliver high-quality, efficient care across a diverse patient population Work independently and make clinical decisions without onsite physician support Must have at least 2 years of recent urgent care experience Active Texas license required Flexibility to cover both AM and PM shifts as needed Three-month contract with strong potential for extension Strong compensation Travel-related expenses covered A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities Enjoy the flexibility of short-term assignments, allowing you to test the waters before committing to permanent positions or long-term contracts. About The Position
We are seeking an experienced Urgent Care Physician Assistant for a 39-day locum tenens assignment in Texas. This opportunity starts on Nov 7, 2025, and offers exclusive weekend coverage with flexible AM, PM, and 15-hour shifts. The assignment requires a provider comfortable working independently as the sole clinician in a busy urgent care environment, with a high likelihood of extension.
