When you join Oracle Health Consulting as a Change Management Director Change Management Program Oversight, you become part of a high-impact leadership team supporting our Federal customers in the largest electronic health record modernization effort in the nation. In this director level role (with no direct reports), you will be accountable for the success of our consulting change management program, overseeing all deployment workstreams, serving as primary program oversight for large, complex healthcare IT initiatives, and ensuring projects deliver exceptional value to our customers on time and under budget. You will also provide third-party consultant oversight, drive financial performance, and act as a senior client-facing leader.
Responsibilities include providing overall program oversight for Oracle Health Consulting's change management engagements, ensuring alignment with client strategy, objectives, and timelines. Lead the deployment of change management initiatives across multiple sites, coordinating with internal teams, client stakeholders, and third-party consultants. Hold accountability for financial performance across multiple projects, ensuring delivery on time, on scope, and under budget. Serve as the senior client-facing leader, maintaining strong relationships with executive stakeholders and ensuring customer satisfaction. Oversee development and execution of change management strategies for large, complex healthcare IT programs, integrating best practices and lessons learned. Provide expert guidance and leadership to project teams and consultants to ensure high-quality deliverables and adherence to methodologies. Identify program risks, adoption challenges, and opportunities; implement mitigation plans to achieve desired outcomes. Influence and evolve Oracle Health Consulting's change management methodologies through thought leadership and industry expertise.
To be successful in this role, you are an experienced relationship-builder who thrives on partnering with executives, customers, and consultants. You bring deep expertise in change management and have successfully led large-scale healthcare IT transformation efforts. You are comfortable with full financial accountability for multiple projects and can balance scope, schedule, and budget. You excel at motivating and guiding teams (including third-party consultants) without direct line authority. You have exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills and can simplify complex information for senior audiences. You demonstrate resilience, adaptability, and a process-improvement mindset in ambiguous, high-stakes environments.
Qualifications include a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, Healthcare Administration, Organizational Development, or related field. At least 1215 years of related work experience including leading large, complex change management programs in healthcare or health IT, direct financial accountability for multi-project portfolios, and extensive client-facing experience with executive stakeholders. Proven track record of successfully implementing change management strategies across large, complex organizations. U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management applications. Ability to travel up to 25% is required and ability to work irregular hours as needed and allowed by local regulations.
Preferred qualifications include Certified Change Management Professional (CCMP), Prosci Change Management, Project Management Professional (PMP), experience with Federal or Public Sector customers, advanced degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or Organizational Development, strong healthcare acumen and understanding of EHR modernization, and demonstrated success managing third-party consultants within large, complex programs.
