Job descriptionWork in a Home Health setting with territory coverage of 40-80 miles Caseload ratio averages 1 : 6 Day shifts, 5x8 hours, 8 : 00 to 17 : 00 No weekend shifts required Charting is done using EPIC EMR, and experience with EPIC is required Mileage is reimbursed at $0.55 per mile Candidates must float within service line if needed Role involves collaborating closely with PT and providing patient / family education, performing assessment and reassessment, ordering supplies, and scheduling appointments Milage reimbursed for patient visits over a large geographic territory Professional dress code; any color / style of scrub allowed as long as appearance is clean and professional Return staff policy requires permanent employees to wait one year before returning as a traveler Maximum of 7 days RTO allowed per 13-week contract; no RTO permitted during the first week Facial hair must allow for proper fit testing if required No local candidates accepted within a 75-mile radius Current state PTA license is required at time of consideration; license required if applicable Minimum 2 years of recent experience as a PTA, including previous home care experience Current BLS certification is required Skills in cardiopulmonary, geriatrics, orthopedics, Med Surg, adaptive and assistive devices, pain assessment, and patient-family education Strong critical thinking, assessment, communication, and time management skills EPIC charting experience required No first-time travelers will be considered Candidates must reside at least 75 miles from the facility High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts
