Position Overview :
The National Accounts Billing Specialist is responsible for supporting customers' billing functions in national accounts. The primary focus is to field customer calls and ensure invoices are submitted timely and accurately. The National Accounts Billing Specialist will be the first point of contact for customer's questions and concerns regarding invoicing.
Core Responsibilities :
Reconcile and consolidate reporting received from Regional Development Offices to facilitate the creation of customer invoices.
Maintain contact with Regional Franchise Developers and National Account Clients.
Field phone calls and questions to resolve discrepancies or missing information.
Create and maintain templates to leverage for creation of customer invoices.
Partner with national clients to communicate effectively and address any questions / concerns that arise throughout the month.
Operate within various payment portals to ensure invoices are submitted and received by the customer in a timely manner.
Attend customer meetings to resolve issues and determine billing process for national account clients.
Provide solutions to any relative problems of customers.
Complete AP and AR activities according to monthly deadlines.
Maintain accurate service records and documentation
Support Account Managers with reporting and issue resolution
Assist with client-specific billing requirements
Critical Skills & Attributes :
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic Accounting Software.
Experience with Corrigo, Coupa, Service Channel and NetSuite a plus
Ability to work independently and as a team member.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to provide clear, concise communication with clients and internal customers.
Strong attention to detail.
Able to work in a fast-paced environment
Independent initiative-taker with the ability to multi-task
Possesses exceptional organizational skills.
Required Experience & Qualifications :
Two-year
degree in accounting,
finance
or business,
Bachelor's
degree preferred.
Minimum 3
years' experience
in a
high-volume
billing role.
