Job Title : Systems Operations Engineer

Locations : Charlotte, NC / Chandler, AZ / Dallas, TX

Job Summary :  The primary role of this position is to provide day-to-day support of systems and services in for the Enterprise Messaging SMTP Backbone and Email Security apps that handle the inbound / outbound routing of all email to / from the bank. The primary job is to ensure availability of a large on-premise production environment through proactive monitoring and fast response and resolution to any issues. As part of a 24x7x365 global support team, this position may involve on-call support.

• Consult on or participate in moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within Systems Operations Engineering and contribute to large-scale planning related to Systems Operations Engineering deliverables.
• Review and analyze moderately complex Systems Operations Engineering challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
• Contribute to the resolution of moderately complex issues and consult with others to meet Systems Operations Engineering deliverables while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
• Collaborate with client personnel in Systems Operations Engineering.

Technical Skills : 4+ years Production SMTP Email support in a large corporate environment, 25,000 + users; including applications / services as follows : Proofpoint Sentrions (migrating to Proofpoint Cloudmark), Zix / Zixport, Proofpoint on Demand (POD), on-prem systems (PPS), FireEye, SMTP Enterprise Relay (SER), Microsoft Defender, and application channels.

Required Qualifications :

4+ years of Systems Engineering or Technology Architecture experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following : work or consulting experience, training, military experience, education.
