Academic Program Specialist
USC's Keck School of Medicine, Department of Medicine, Office of Educational Affairs is seeking an Academic Program Specialist.
The ideal candidate should be motivated to succeed, multi-task in a high-energy environment, produce high-quality results, and maintain a welcoming and professional demeanor. The incumbent will work with the USC / Los Angeles General Medical Center (LAGMC) Internal Medicine Residency Program Manager to manage the USC / LAGMC Internal Medicine Residency Program that is comprised of 165 residents. Responsibilities will include meeting Accreditation of Council of Graduate Medical Education, American Board of Internal Medicine, and Medical Board of California requirements, as well as LAGMC and USC policies.
Job Accountabilities :
Rate Information : This position will be Non-exempt and Hybrid-Flex. The hourly rate range for this position is $28.88 to $32.69.

Preferred Education : Bachelor's Degree, TAGME Certification
Preferred Experience : 2 Years
Preferred Field of Expertise : Graduate Medical Education, Undergraduate Medical Education, Administration, Higher Education or Student Personnel Administration
Minimum Education : Bachelor's degree. Combined experience / education as substitute for minimum education
Minimum Experience : 2 years. Combined experience / education as substitute for minimum experience
Minimum Field of Expertise : Experience in higher education and / or customer service. Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills for interacting with both domestic and international stakeholders. Demonstrated attention to detail. Proven ability to plan, implement, and coordinate program logistics. Demonstrated database / data entry experience. Proven project management and problem solving skills, able to handle multiple timelines, changing priorities, and fluctuating workloads.
