Overview
MBP is looking for a Junior Scheduler in the eastern portion of the US with experience providing schedule development and / or review services on construction projects.
Proficient in Oracle P6 and experienced with Microsoft Project.
Responsibilities
Main Duties :
- Performs reviews of contractor-submitted baseline and periodic schedule updates for compliance with the specification and overall reasonableness.
- Provides schedule development and updates services for contractors.
- Assist with developing and / or reviewing time extension requests.
- Assists with the development and / or analysis of post-construction delay analyses.
- Analyze drawings, specifications, and statement of work in preparation for schedule review services.
- Evaluate the actual construction status relative to the proposed plan.
- Analyze and communicate the impact of changes to the schedule.
- Occasional overnight travel may be required.
Qualifications
Education
- Undergraduate degree.
- 2+ years of scheduling experience on construction projects.
Skills and Abilities
- Ability to relate technical knowledge to a non-technical audience.
- Detail oriented and can manage multiple priorities.
- Skilled at developing and maintaining relationships.
- Ability to interface and effectively communicate with others.
- Understanding of Critical Path Method (CPM) scheduling techniques
- Proficiency in Primavera (P6) software.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office software programs including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Specific title based on candidate's education, background, and level of experience.
