Description

Lutheran Social Services of Illinois (LSSI) is a not-for-profit social service agency with more than 100 program sites throughout the state of Illinois.

Our services include mental health and substance use treatment; services for returning citizens after incarceration; housing and services for older adults and individuals with ID / DD;

and a variety of services for children including foster care and adoption. LSSI is hiring a full-time Program Director. Responsible for supervising the daily operations and delivery of substance use services as well as providing support oversight to the program.

Essential Functions :

  • Oversee curriculum delivery to clients and the scheduling of clinical services.
  • Ensure reporting, productivity, and service deliverable requirements identified by LSSI, SUPR, SOR Grant, and funding bodies are met.
  • Provide direct supervision, training, support, review, and evaluation for assigned staff.
  • Review both written and EHR documentation to ensure compliance with SUPR and Part 2060.
  • Ensure adherence to ethical standards of treatment, including NASW Code of Ethics.
  • Demonstrate professional, positive behavior and carry out responsibilities with integrity, treating clients, families, other LSSI workforce members, and collaborative organizations and / or individual in a dignified, respectful, honest and fair manner.

Position Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in social services field is required.
  • Master’s degree in social services is preferred.
  • CADC or the ability to obtain a CADC within 18 months of hire is required.
  • LPC / LCPC or LSW / LCSW is preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience in substance use field with increasing levels of responsibility preferred.
  • Background check clearance required.
  • Excellent organization, presentation, and pc / computer skills (including experience using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) along with other related software.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in EHR documentation and review preferred.
  • Familiarity with accreditation and licensure standards.
  • Access to reliable transportation.
  • Valid Driver’s License in good standing for the state of residency required.
  • Valid IL statutory minimum liability insurance coverage, bodily injury and property damage required.
