Veteran Service Representative

A company is looking for a Veteran Service Representative (Remote in Wisconsin / Michigan).

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate incoming Veteran Affairs Community Care Network authorizations and verify veteran coverage

Ensure accurate and timely entry of data for veteran referrals and authorizations for services

Gather and analyze data to process authorizations while providing excellent service to veterans and providers

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

Minimum of two years of experience in a medical business office or healthcare setting

Successful completion of post-secondary courses in Medical Terminology and Diagnosis and CPT Coding is preferred

Graduate of a Medical Assistant, Health Unit Coordinator, or Health Care Business Service program is preferred

No specific certifications or licenses required

No minimum education requirement beyond high school diploma or equivalent
