Job BriefCampbell County Health is seeking a dedicated Anesthesiologist to join our healthcare team.
The ideal candidate will supervise CRNAs during the day and cover OB / epidurals. CRNAs cover epidurals during the night / weekends. MD / DO covers surgical cases during the night / weekends. MD / DO must be comfortable with regional anesthesia including spinal, Epidural, and different types of Peripheral Nerve blocks.
- Responsibilities
- Administer general or local anesthetics to patients.
- Monitor patient before, during, and after anesthesia and counteract adverse reactions or complications.
- Record type and amount of anesthesia and patient condition throughout procedure.
- Provide and maintain life support and airway management.
- Confer with other medical professionals to determine type and method of anesthetic or sedation to render patient insensible to pain.
- Educate patients and families on post-procedure care and possible complications.
- Instruct individuals and groups on ways to preserve health and prevent disease.
- Qualifications
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree and anesthesiology residency.
- Current Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) registration for the prescription of controlled substances.
- In-depth knowledge of current anesthesia practices and standards.
- Eligible for unrestricted medical licensure in the State of Wyoming;
