Rental And Transportation Coordinator
The primary responsibility of this position is coordinating the ordering and delivery of equipment entrusted to the rentals and transportation department. This position works with the Service Manager and Rental Administrator to ensure that rentals are available and ready for delivery, transportation paperwork is accurately prepared, and drivers are efficiently dispatched.
Job Responsibilities
Rental :
- Primary for incoming rental inquiries from internal & external customers
- Quote pricing and availability of rental equipment
- Process sub-rent orders
- Ensure sub-rent billing is done correctly
- Enter rental invoices in the Toyota Portal
- Maintain customer rental contracts
- Process COD payments
- Schedule rental planned maintenance
- Follow up internal rental requests
- Maintain daily updated rental inventory report
Transportation :
Dispatch transportation of equipmentFile rental and transportation documentsManage DOT DVIR, driver logs, and IFTA fuel receiptsMake inside sales calls promoting rental businessSchedule the transportation of all incoming and outgoing unitsCommunicate deliveries and transfers to associates and customersStage driver loads when possibleEnsure the accuracy of all shipping and receiving paperworkProcess transport driver's paperwork and review laborOther Responsibilities
