The Project Manager New Construction & Remodel will serve as a critical link between engineering design and project execution for commercial HVAC systems. This role works closely with building engineers, internal project teams, and external partners to guide HVAC system design, ensure constructability, and develop accurate project bids. In this role, it will play a key role in preconstruction planning and technical support throughout the design-build lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities :
Collaborate with commercial building engineers and architects to design HVAC system layouts that meet performance, efficiency, and budget targetsTranslate design specifications into actionable project scopes for remodeling or new construction workAnalyze mechanical drawings and specifications to support system design and recommend value engineering optionsAssist in the preparation of detailed bids, proposals, takeoffs, and cost estimates for HVAC projectsProvide technical guidance on materials, equipment, codes, and installation best practicesCoordinate with procurement, construction, and field operations to validate build feasibility and installation timelinesParticipate in site walks, pre-bid meetings, and project kickoffs to assess field conditions and identify potential risks or redesign needsLiaise with subcontractors, vendors, and clients during the bidding and early planning phasesSupport project managers and field teams during construction with design clarifications or scope changesStay current with mechanical codes, energy standards, and HVAC technologies to ensure system designs remain compliant and competitiveMinimum Qualifications :
High school diploma or equivalent required5+ years of experience in HVAC design, construction, or estimating (commercial or industrial projects preferred)Strong understanding of HVAC systems, mechanical codes, and blueprint readingExperience developing project bids, takeoffs, and scopes of workExcellent communication and collaboration skills across technical and non-technical stakeholdersProficiency in AutoCAD, Bluebeam, or HVAC design software is a plusMechanical or Construction Management background preferred (degree or trade certification)Nice to Have :
Experience in design-build or remodeling environmentsKnowledge of construction scheduling, permitting, and contractor managementFamiliarity with design value engineering and lifecycle cost analysis
