Based in Milwaukee or Rosemont, this leadership position reports to the Vice President, Global Tax and collaborates with the Senior Tax Director, International Tax Director, Indirect Tax Director and the broader Global Tax team.

The Global Tax team is evolving to be more strategic in supporting Regal Rexnord’s global businesses. As the head of the domestic tax function, the Domestic Tax Director will drive strategic initiatives in tax planning, business support, tax controversy management and M&A activities. The role will also identify and implement strategies to improve and automate current compliance and tax provision processes in coordination with the tax leadership team.

The environment is fast-paced, dynamic and requires a high degree of initiative to make a direct impact on the company’s success. The role focuses on U.S. federal and state income tax topics for Regal Rexnord’s 50+ domestic entities; experience with U.S. international tax concepts related to FDII, BEAT and other non-U.S. aspects of the U.S. federal tax return will be helpful.

Responsibilities

• Lead U.S. federal and state tax compliance processes in coordination with the internal tax team and external service providers.
• Manage the tax provision team responsible for computing Regal Rexnord’s consolidated tax rate and lead federal and state tax provision computations under ASC-740.
• Develop and implement domestic tax planning initiatives to increase strategic value. Support all M&A diligence and integration activities with a domestic focus.
• Develop and lead business partnership initiatives related to Regal Rexnord’s domestic restructuring initiatives.
• Manage and coordinate U.S. federal tax audits and state audits, including relationships with IRS and state tax auditors, with a focus on strategic audit responses.
• Support development and implementation of domestic process improvements for income tax compliance and provision processes.
• Partner effectively with the Indirect Tax Director and team on domestic tax matters of mutual interest.
• Develop and train domestic tax team members, including team members based outside the U.S.
• Participate in communications and meetings with the CFO and other members of the executive leadership team.

Compensation

$150,000 - $200,000

The salary range is indicative of base pay for all statewide locations in the United States and depends on location, candidate skills, experience, education and internal compensation comparisons.
