About the Role

The organization is on the lookout for a dynamic Senior Campaign Advisor to spearhead its Climate Urgency Campaigns. In this pivotal role, you will develop and implement strategic campaigns aimed at amplifying the urgency for immediate climate action, particularly in light of escalating extreme weather events. You will play a crucial role in countering disinformation propagated by climate deniers and in bolstering the political power of the climate movement.

As part of your responsibilities, you will coordinate with various teams, oversee a project manager, and manage consultants to ensure the successful execution of campaigns. You will set and monitor campaign metrics, ensuring alignment with the organization's overarching goals. Anticipating campaign needs, generating media opportunities, and cultivating strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders will also be part of your role.

The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of experience, with a minimum of 10 years in political strategies, including at least 5 years in people or campaign management. A proven track record of leading large-scale campaigns with effective paid communication strategies and engaging high-profile stakeholders is essential. You must thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment and be open to working unpredictable hours.
