Position Overview

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Studer Grinder Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in setting up and operating CNC cylindrical shaft grinding machines , with a strong focus on quality, precision, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC, Studer cylindrical grinding machines
• Interpret complex blueprints and specifications to determine dimensions and tolerances
• Conduct in-process inspections and quality checks using air gages, micrometers, calipers, height stands, and other precision measuring tools
• Troubleshoot and make adjustments to maintain quality and productivity
• Follow SOPs, RAMs and Health & Safety rules for machining operations
• Maintain a clean and organized work area following safety and quality standards
• Collaborate with the engineering and quality team on process improvements and part evaluations

Qualifications & Experience

What We Offer

We emphasize that this position is required to set-up the Studer Grinder machine for low volume, bespoke parts and while some training will be provided on our in-house operations, knowledge of machine set-ups is critical.
