Harbor is seeking a Senior Associate Consultant to join our growing legal technology team. A core part of our business is to provide technology services to corporate legal departments around the areas of Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM), Discovery and Data Management (DDM), and Enterprise Legal Management (ELM). This role is for our Contract Lifecycle Management service line , which helps Fortune 500 companies select, implement, and optimize Contract Lifecycle Management solutions. We are seeking a Sr. Consultant with deep Contract Lifecycle Management, Artificial Intelligence (AI), service delivery, and client advisory experience to join this growing team. This role is open to remote work in any US location, with a preference for those in Chicago, our headquarters and where some of the CLM team resides.
The following is an overview of the services the CLM team provides to help clients manage their contract management solution :
Conduct assessments of contract management processes, workflows, and technologies and provide recommendations to enact change
RoadmapDevelop strategic road maps that govern a holistic implementation approach
OptimizeFocus on reconfiguring workflows and end-to-end business process improvements to support the optimization of existing CLM tools and technology
SelectPerform assessment of current processes, detailed requirements gathering, and a robust RFP / demo process to ensure the system selected meets client needs
ImplementProvide business process and technical expertise to support all aspects of system implementation, from design through deployment
EnhanceDrive process and program improvement initiatives, including designing operating models and related roles, defining workflows, conducting training, and more
SupportProvide support including managed services to drive high levels of adoption
The immediate focus of this role will be to support a multi-year Contract Lifecycle Management implementation. As a Sr. Consultant, you will be responsible for the following :
Serve as primary project manager and provide configuration supportCoordinate across teams and manage individual workstreams to promote on-time deliveryActively manage the project plan and provide transparency into upcoming activitiesInteract with client stakeholders to facilitate status calls and prepare status reports across numerous engagement teamsSpearhead change management initiatives and communications planningPrepare steering committee materialsSupport project delivery through hands on implementation support and system configuration of workflows and templatesProviding guidance, instruction, and oversight in driving the completion of deliverables and client commitmentsDeveloping current and future client relationships through exceptional service deliveryJob Duties and Responsibilities :
Project Management & Implementation Support
Facilitate information gathering workshops with senior legal, business, and IT stakeholders to understand current state processes and gather future state goals and objectivesDevelop and present recommendations and implementation roadmaps to client leadership teams on how to mitigate risk, enhance the project, and / or achieve operational efficienciesCreate CLM process documentation, workflow diagrams, playbooks, standard operating procedures, roles and responsibilities matrices, checklists, trackers, and other deliverables as requestedIdentify and document test scenarios to ensure new processes, technologies, integrations, data handoffs, hosting models, etc. align with expected outcomesDefine change management strategies and facilitate (or execute) key tasks required to ensure enduring change, strong user adoption, and a seamless implementation experiencePartner with client teams to develop training curriculum and materials, as well as lead end-user training in partnership with technology providersServe as lead project manager for system implementation project, including creating and maintaining project schedules, managing the project budget and scope, providing routine status updates, tracking and reporting issues, and coordinating activities with third party vendorsExperience, Education and Other Qualifications :
3-6 years of relevant experience in legal consulting or with a CLM provider, specifically in a customer facing role advising clientsPreferred hands-on experience implementing, using, or administering EvisortSignificant experience performing CLM process and / or technology assessments, selecting and implementing CLM platforms, designing CLM operating models, creating CLM documentation, or advising on best practicesFour-year degree in Finance, Business, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Science, Economics, Statistics, Accounting, Data & Analytics, and the like, or equivalent combination of experience and educationDemonstrated knowledge of the following areas :Industry leading CLM technologies and service providersAI opportunities and best practices throughout the contract lifecycleCLM stakeholders and their typical roles and responsibilitiesCommon legal operations and CLM platform integrationsComponents of a highly developed CLM programIT implementation methodologies and controlsManaging project budgets, resources, and timelinesAbility to independently manage multiple concurrent engagements and clientsExcellent communication and storytelling skills (written, via data and deliverables, and verbally)Keen attention to detail and capability to prepare polished client deliverablesWillingness to self-study and learn new concepts or technologies to solve problemsAptitude and desire to learn and develop generative or other AI-enabled solutionsHave permanent US work authorizationAbout Us :
