Primary Purpose : In this role, you will develop and lead teams in critical studies, plans, specifications, and evaluations related to Exelon's transmission facilities and systems. You will provide expert consultation that informs company decisions and supports operational and strategic initiatives. Additionally, you will participate in creating and updating internal and industry standards while mentoring others in the field.

Position Highlights : This is a hybrid position based in our Oakbrook Terrace, IL office, requiring employees to be in the office at least three days a week (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday). Relocation assistance is available.

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead and perform complex engineering tasks, ensuring results meet industry standards.
• Evaluate and implement projects with significant financial and operational implications.
• Plan and conduct site assessments, budget recommendations, and performance monitoring.
• Provide expert guidance while leading multi-discipline teams and overseeing contractors.
• Act as a key expert in your specialized area, influencing strategic decision-making.
• Deliver comprehensive technical training and mentorship to peers and team members.
• Engage with technical and industry societies to advance knowledge and recommend innovative solutions.
