A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring a Finisher.

Position Type : Contract to Hire

Duration : 12months

Location : P hiladelphia, PA 19116

As a Finisher you will

• Coat surface of parts, assemblies, and finished products with protective or decorative materials such as paint, varnish, enamel, lacquer, dope, or stain using spray gun.
• Select and mix coating material; coats areas inaccessible to hand sprayer using brush or roller.
• May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures.
• Layout and position structural members on floor bedplates, allowing for expansion and contraction of metals, and clamp components into position holding squareness and parallelism to close fractional tolerances.
• Measuring using a variety of accurate measuring instruments and good working skills with fractional and decimal dimensions is a daily requirement.
• Drill openings, carefully grind and polish parts, plug and patch defects and clean and dress welds as necessary.
• Use hand tools, scale, grinders, small sanders, tape measure, fixtures, rotary positioners.
• Select proper size and type of electrode or rod; set current density and regulate gas pressure.
• Follow very complex welding prints and established procedures for all operations.
