Shift : Monday, Wednesday–Friday 7 : 00 AM – 1 : 30 PM; Saturday 7 : 00 AM – 11 : 00 AM (Central Time Zone)

Job Summary :

The Phlebotomist Patient Services Representative I (PSR I) serves as the face of the organization for patients visiting for laboratory testing. This role involves collecting high-quality blood samples , preparing specimens for testing, and ensuring accuracy and professionalism in every patient interaction. The PSR I upholds confidentiality, safety, and process excellence , providing compassionate care while maintaining compliance with all clinical and operational standards.

Key Responsibilities :

Perform specimen collection and processing duties accurately and on time under supervision.

Maintain a safe, professional, and patient-centered environment.

Execute both forensic and clinical collection procedures following company standards.

Ensure proper labeling and verification of all specimens.

Maintain required documentation and records accurately.

Exhibit professionalism, empathy, and excellent communication with patients.

Demonstrate organizational commitment and promote a positive image to patients and staff.

Required Experience :

Minimum 6 months of phlebotomy experience required.

1+ year of experience preferred , including pediatric and geriatric collections.

Experience in customer service or patient-facing environments preferred.

Strong data entry and computer proficiency.

Nice-to-Have Experience :

Prior experience in a Patient Service Center or healthcare setting .

Knowledge of laboratory information systems.

Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, or extended hours as needed.

Required Skills :

Proficient phlebotomy technique across age groups.

Attention to detail and ability to ensure error-free work.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

Dependable and self-motivated under minimal supervision.
