Responsibilities and Duties
Evaluate and treat patients presenting with cold and flu symptoms, rashes, lacerations, abrasions, sprains, and minor burnsPerform orthopedic procedures such as splinting and provide comprehensive wound careRefer high-acuity cases to the emergency department as appropriateSee and manage patients of all agesMaintain accurate documentation using Epic EMRAdditional Information
Active Pennsylvania state license and DEA requiredCurrent certifications in ACLS, BLS, and PALS requiredMinimum 2 years of urgent care experience or 1 year of emergency medicine experience requiredMust be comfortable with orthopedic procedures and wound careAbility to provide consistent availability of at least 6 shifts per monthDrug screen and background check from the past 12 months requiredBenefits
