LocumJobsOnline is working with Wellhart, LLC to find a qualified Urgent Care NP in Uniontown, Pennsylvania, 15401!

About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner for a locum tenens assignment in Pennsylvania starting Jan 5, 2026. This 36-day opportunity involves day shifts, Monday through Sunday, with both part-time (minimum 6 shifts / month) and full-time (12+ shifts / month) options. The role requires caring for patients of all ages and delivering a wide range of urgent care services.

  • Schedule : Monday to Sunday, 8am-8pm; FT 12+ shifts / month or PT 6+ shifts / month

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Evaluate and treat patients presenting with cold and flu symptoms, rashes, lacerations, abrasions, sprains, and minor burns
  • Perform orthopedic procedures such as splinting and provide comprehensive wound care
  • Refer high-acuity cases to the emergency department as appropriate
  • See and manage patients of all ages
  • Maintain accurate documentation using Epic EMR

    • Additional Information

  • Active Pennsylvania state license and DEA required
  • Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, and PALS required
  • Minimum 2 years of urgent care experience or 1 year of emergency medicine experience required
  • Must be comfortable with orthopedic procedures and wound care
  • Ability to provide consistent availability of at least 6 shifts per month
  • Drug screen and background check from the past 12 months required
