Our client is seeking a Business Intelligence Lead who is responsible for leading the design, implementation, and optimization of business intelligence solutions using Microsoft Fabric and Databricks. This role manages complex BI projects, collaborates with cross-functional teams, and promotes data-driven decision-making across the organization. The position also integrates data from Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, and SAP to deliver strategic, actionable insights to stakeholders in key areas such as commercial, supply chain, finance, and operations.

Responsibilities

• Leadership & Strategy : Lead and mentor a team of BI developers and analysts. Define and execute the BI strategy to align with business goals, ensuring data initiatives deliver measurable value.
• BI Solution Design & Development : Architect, implement, and manage BI reporting solutions using Microsoft Fabric, ensuring scalable, reliable, and high-performance analytics and reporting frameworks.
• Data Management : Oversee the ingestion, transformation, and storage of data into semantic models within Fabric, integrating data from multiple sources to ensure a unified, accurate, and accessible data layer for analytics and reporting.
• Collaboration & Communication : Work closely with business stakeholders, product managers, and IT teams to understand business requirements and deliver actionable data insights. Effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical teams.
• Data Governance & Quality : Ensure established data governance standards and processes / practices are followed
• Continuous Improvement : Stay up to date with emerging BI technologies, AI / ML advancements, and Microsoft Fabric capabilities. Identify and implement improvements to existing BI tools and processes.
• Reporting & Analytics : Develop custom dashboards, reports, and visualizations to provide business leaders with real-time, actionable insights.
• Support : Provide support to the business users across various Analytical tools directly or in conjunction with the support team.
• Other duties as assigned.
