Program Assistant
The Program Assistant provides programmatic and administrative support to the Healthy Start program. This position serves as a key point of contact for participants and visitors, coordinates referrals, assists with documentation and database management, and supports the program's day-to-day operations. The Program Assistant ensures compliance with program guidelines, maintains accurate records, and assists with quality improvement activities under the direction of the Healthy Start Director.

Requirements
Administrative and Organizational Skills : Strong time management, organization, attention to detail, customer service, and problem-solving abilities. Technical Skills : Proficiency in basic computer and data entry tasks with the ability to learn new databases or software. Interpersonal Skills : Courteous, effective communicator with individuals from diverse backgrounds. Team Player : Cooperative and dependable, fostering positive relationships with colleagues and community partners. Education : High school diploma or equivalent required. Driver's License : Valid driver's license and ability to travel throughout the service area.
Preferred Qualifications
Two (2) years of experience as a program assistant, administrative assistant, or equivalent role. Knowledge of community resources in Dauphin County and surrounding areas. Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
