Description :

We are seeking a Registered Nurse specializing in Medical / Surgical and Telemetry to join our team.

This position requires working the night shift for 12-hour shifts.

Candidates should have a minimum of 2 years of nursing experience.

An active nursing license is mandatory for this role.

BLS certification is required and ACLS is preferred.

All RNs must pass an EKG exam as part of the compliance process.

Candidates must have experience with the EPIC charting system.

Charge RN experience is preferred but not mandatory.

The nursing unit primarily serves adult and geriatric patients, focusing on general surgical care.

The patient-to-nurse ratio is typically 5-6 patients.

This role may require floating to different departments as needed.

Candidates should be prepared to manage patients with a variety of medical needs, including pre-op and post-op care.

Staffing support includes CNAs and Unit Secretaries when available.

Telemetry experience, including remote monitoring capabilities, is essential for this role.
