• Work 12-hour shifts from 7 : 00 AM to 7 : 30 PM with 30-minute unpaid lunch
• Every other weekend requirement (2 weekends per 4-week schedule)
• Holiday requirement for Christmas, New Year's, and Thanksgiving (work 2 days and 1 evening or 2 evenings and 1 day)
• Patient ratio of 1 : 5 on 48-bed telemetry unit (4A and 4B)
• Required certifications : BLS and ACLS
• Navy blue scrubs required
• One shift of unit orientation provided
• Cerner charting system experience recommended
• Must have experience reading basic telemetry strips and interpreting strips at least once per shift
• Experience with general and orthopedic surgical patients, CVA, and TIA preferred
• Care for patients with COVID, respiratory issues, GI conditions, diabetes, telemetry, TIA, CVA, and surgical patients
• May be required to float to East Campus and possibly PCU if qualified
• First to float designation
• Self-scheduling used with manager approval for 4-week schedules
• No call or standby requirements

The facility features a 48-bed unit with remote telemetry monitoring, dedicated monitor technicians, and respiratory therapy support including BiPAP, CPAP, and high flow equipment.
